Rohnert Park

Project Type: Acquisition and Rehab​

Project description:  3-bed, 2-bath single family home for persons with developmental disabilities

NBHC worked with Community Housing Sonoma County to acquire and to rehabilitate this property from the Sonoma County Community Development Commission.  Th funds received were part of the Neighborhood Stabilization Program, which assisted Community-based non-profits in purchasing foreclosed or abandoned properties.  

Funds from the Department of Developmental Services via North Bay Regional Center were also utilized in order to support individuals moving from Sonoma Developmental Center.

NBHC actively manages this  property and rents directly to two individuals with I/DD who receive support services from North Bay Regional Center.

 

Santa Rosa

Project type:  Acquisition and Rehab

Project Description:  4-bedroom, 2-bath single family home​

Similar to the above home in Rohnert Park, NBHC worked with Community Housing Sonoma County to acquire and to rehabilitate this property from the City of Santa Rosa's Community Development Block Grant funds

Funds from the Department of Developmental Services via North Bay Regional Center were also utilized in order to support individuals moving from Sonoma Developmental Center.
