Housing Plans

Referrals come to us from North Bay Regional Center (NBRC) and are specifically for persons with intellectual-developmental disabilities. Our staff does a thorough intake to fully understand the needs and desires of our client. We then put together a housing plan unique to him/her.

We offer individualized services tailored to each person's needs and desires for housing, including daily subscription to housing leads, roommate matching, and tenant education curriculum to ensure success once you found housing. 

Plus, we can help with mediation, planning a budget, or ways to increase income like evaluation of social security benefits, or eligibility for IHSS support services.

Housing Searches

Our clients have access to our daily leads subscription program where we match housing leads to their housing needs. We also assist with applications to Section 8 and affordable housing apartments.

We offer tenant education course that teaches one how to be a good tenant.

Shared Housing

Having fixed, low-income makes it a challenge to find housing so sometimes it helps to find others who are looking to share housing expenses. Each month we send out a list of other persons who are looking for a roommate. If you are interested, please talk with the NBRC service coordinator.
