Our Beginning

The seed for North Bay Housing Coalition was planted in the early 1990’s when current board members, Bill Allen and John Shea, met with fellow advocates, Douglas Cleveland, Elvis Bozarth, and Lotte Moise to set in motion actions that would create housing for persons with developmental disabilities.

Our Values and Vision

We believe that people living with intellectual/developmental disabilities can and should have equal access to affordable housing, independence, and the opportunity to live a vital life in their community.   We respect the goals and needs of each individual.

We are driven by the vision that all people living with intellectual/developmental disabilities will have the opportunity to create a living arrangement that allows them to live their best possible life.
